Job responsibilities:
• Hardware Design, Calculations and Simulations of products respecting customer's specifications and the development rules;
• Participation during the feasibility study of new products;
• Evaluation of customer requirements;
• Work closely with Layout, Mechanical, Software and Test Engineers as well as Advanced Buyers;
• Ensure proper functionality of the developed device with optimal components’ selection;
• Where necessary, perform reliability calculations and support product safety analysis, according to the relevant standards (e.g. IEC62380 and ISO26262).
• Work closely with the manufacturing plant (process engineer, test engineer, project leader) to assure product manufacturability;
• Work in relation with the customer for achieving technical added value, respecting project rules set by the Program/Project Managers;
• Provide an approval of the developed products in the relevant categories;
• Propose implementation of new methods and techniques for continuous improvement and process control;
• Improve its qualification according to the approved programs;
• Mentor the hardware engineers.

Job requirements:
• University degree in Electronics, Automotive electronics, Automation or another relevant field;
• Excellent knowledge of design and development processes in Electronics Hardware design;
• Knowledge in EMI, EMC and ESD;
• Knowledge in power electronics;
• Schematic capture and design of digital/ analogue circuits;
• Familiar with related IPC standards;
• Experience in Electronics Hardware simulations;
• High level of experience in ISO 26262 and reliability calculations;
• Experience in using OrCAD at proficient level;
• Experience in using Altium Designer;
• Excellent knowledge of automotive electronic components;
• Design to cost;
• Good computer skills (general purpose and specialized quality software);
• Previous experience within Automotive Industry;
• Fluent written and verbal English.

Desirable skills:
• Knowledge in high voltage power electronics;
• Experience with various Electronics Hardware design tools would be a plus.
